- It uses slugs one at a time leading to conservation of ammo
- It has high accuracy when the scope is attached

- It is very ineffective for dispatching enemies other the Birds and Mushrooms due to low damage
- It has only one slug per load making it have a very slow rate of fire
- Low damage
