A Klonk is one of the many throwables that is included in Cobalt. Upon throwing, it detonates, leaving an invisible forcefield, which upon being entered, zaps players and debris. Klonks are introduced in the Alpha release of Cobalt. It's known locations are on the maps Space Zone and Tower in Deathmatch, but certain enemies can drop it on the map Survival House in Survival. It can kill players from heat damage, and will repel them from the area planted for a set duration of time, making them useful for Capture the Plug. The Klonk can be lethal when the player is pinned against a wall by the forcefield, or when the player is stuck between two klonks.
