A Ninja will occasionally be equipped with a Shield Belt, making them characteristically dangerous.
There are 4 types of Shield Belts, each one has a unique effects, except for Basic Shield Belt which has no effect. Effects trigger only after Shield Belts are destroyed.

The effect of Hard Shield Belt (Green)  is "Harden". it provides a temporary orange coloured shield that works similarly to a regular Shield Belt.

The effect of Reflect Shield Belt (Pink) is "Omni Reflect". It emits a purple-pink aura around the player that reflects all bullets away. (It's a little buggy with Beam Gun).

The effect of Stun Shield Belt (Yellow) is "Omni Stun". It provides a yellow aura around the player that 'stuns' projectiles, absorbing them with no damage done to the player.

Shield Belts are weak against heat. All weapons that produce heat are good against Shield Belts, this includes Plasma Weapons, Beam Gun, Blaster Gun, Thermal Launcher and throwables Thermal Bomb, Molotov, Dynamite, Chemical Vial(?), Klonk and Nitrogen Grenade. Shield Belts are also weak against cold, but except for Nitrogen Grenade and some place in Arctic Vault there are barely any cold things.

A Survival Metalfaces will occasionally be equipped with a Shield Belt, making them characteristically dangerous.
