The term NPC (Non-Player-Character) or in the Level Editor called "Actors" describes every entity in Cobalt that is not controlled by a human player. This doesn't mean that you can't make them available in the Level editor.
NPCs can be divided into the following categories:
Hostile NPCs
Neutral NPCs
Friendly NPCs
At the current state of development, there are no Friendly NPCs included in the game.
