The Rail Scout is a single-fire rail weapon. It is similar to the Rail Gun, but less expensive and powerful. Unlike the Rail Gun, enemies can deflect some (but not all) of the damage by rolling.
Location
You can find the Rail Scout in the top right part of the "Hampster Cave" in Chapter 3: The Deathshrooms. The "Hampster Cave" is found in the bottom right of "The Fall", which has a cave entrance. Activate the switch that blows up the dynamite.
