The bomb is the most powerful throwable in the game.
As of v101 Alpha, it can only be obtained in the tutorial by buying it at a Vending Machine. Bombs can be picked up and tossed by Birds. It is said that if you're close enough to see the bomb explode, you're probably going to die - It will completely wipe you and every other entity in range out, even if you have an active Shield belt on. The only way to survive it is to round a corner and be far away enough to escape the shock wave, or to hide behind a closed door.
As of v102 Alpha, the bomb has been renamed to "Thermal Bomb" and now does heat damage. However, if you are close enough, you will still be killed by the large amount of thermal power hitting you.
