In [[Survival]], each Player may recieve a certain amount of [[Volts]] at the beginning of the round and when respawning. Volts also can be obtained by selling weapons to shops.  
In [[Waves Survival]], each player may receive a certain amount of [[Volts]] at the beginning of the round and when respawning. Volts also can be obtained by selling weapons to shops, or collecting [[pickups]] from slain enemies. Pickups are automatically converted to volts.
 
In [[Classic Survival]], volts are obtained by collecting [[pickups]] and converting them at a [[Volt Converter]].
 
In [[Story Mode]], volts are obtained by collecting [[pickups]] that automatically convert to volts, much like Waves Survival.  


In [[Team Strike]], players can earn volts based on winning a round (+200 volts), losing a round (+125 volts) and drawing with the other team (+75 volts).
