| Download Soft OAL (make sure you download the win32 binaries NOT the source code) Open the ZIP file and copy the file soft_oal.dll from the folder Win32 Copy the soft_oal.dll file into your Cobalt folder (default C:\Games\Cobalt) Rename soft_oal.dll to OpenAL32.dll Run Cobalt and enjoy! :D Extra: If the problem still occurs, copy the new OpenAL32.dll and paste it into C:\Windows\system32\ overwrite any existing file) Extra: If you need to reinstall the original OpenAL32.dll for any reason, you can download the official OpenAL installer here [Thanks to Zuriki]

| Profiles, session data and other saved data can't be created when running the game in user-mode (ie: not admin mode).
