Revision as of 03:38, 15 December 2011
As of (14 December 2011) the multiplayer was briefly explained on Mojang's blog[1], and also on the Oxeye Game Studio blog.[2]
How It Will Work
As of now, only hot seat multiplayer (local) is in the game for sure but Jacob William Jervey posted a blog on Oxete's site[2] that basically says that he would really like Network multiplayer (connect to a server from anywhere) to be in the game's final version, but as of right now, it's no-where near done and may not end up being implemented at all.
Game Modes
- Capture the Plug
- Limited number of players by how many USB-controllers you can plug into your computer.
- Score limit is 3 and currently non-configureable.
- Teams can be randomized.[3]
- Death Match
- Limited number of players by how many USB-controllers you can plug into your computer.
- Team Based.
- Co-op Survival
- Try to gain as many energy points as you can while surviving the progressively harder enemies.
- Spend energy points to buy ammo and weapons.
