Multiplayer mode was briefly explained on Mojang's blog[1], and also on the Oxeye Game Studio blog.[2]
How It Will Work
Only Local multiplayer is currently in the game, but in Jacob William Jervey's blog post on Oxeye's site it is indicated that he would really like Network multiplayer to be in the game's final version. However, as of right now, it's nowhere near done and may not end up being implemented at all.[2]
Game Modes
- Capture the Plug[1]
- Limited number of players by how many USB-controllers you can plug into your computer.
- Score limit is 3 and currently non-configureable.
- Teams can be randomized.[3]
- Death Match[1]
- Limited number of players by how many USB-controllers you can plug into your computer.
- Team Based.
- Loot Match
- Not much is known about this game mode.
- Race Match
- Not much is known about this game mode.
- Co-op Survival[1]
- Try to gain as many energy points as you can while surviving the progressively harder enemies.
- Spend energy points to buy ammo and weapons.
