The Shield Belt is an item that generates a shield around the player, making him completely invulnerable to every kind of attack. However, the Shield Belt needs batteries to operate properly and has to recharge after a certain amount of deflected damage, consuming battery charges.

A Ninja will occasionally be equipped with a Shield Belt, making them characteristically dangerous.
Obtainment
In Survival Mode, the Shield Belt can be bought of Vending Machines for 250 Volts, each battery costs 10 Volts. In other gamemodes such as Capture the Plug and Deathmatch, the player is usually already in possession of the belt and only needs to pick up the batteries.
Usage
After picking up a battery, the shield belt will become active after about 7 seconds. When active, the force field will deflect most threats (ie: the Beam Gun)
