The Shield Belt generates a shiels around the player, but needs Battery's to operate. You can buy the shield belt at the shop mostly for 250 Volts. Most times you will need to buy the Batteries at a Vending Machine or at the shop for 10 Volts, but in Space Zone there is a free battery in the middle of the level.
