Shield

A Shield can both be a Belt, which creates an energy sphere around you, or a Hand Shield, which is a classic type of shield that you can put in front of you to protect yourself.

Shield Belts

Shieldbelts are passive equipment items that create a rechargeable sphere of energy around the user. Their upgrades consist of Durability and Effect Power.

There are 4 kinds of shieldbelts:

Basic: Blue, breaks easily, and has no special effects.

Stun: Yellow, stuns enemies upon being disabled.

Reflect: Pink, reflects incoming shots upon being disabled.

Hard: Green, creates a temporary shield upon being disabled.

Hand Shields

Hand shields are manual shields that are raised by ducking (Default key: Down Arrow) or entering caution (Default Key: Shift).

There are 5 shields.

Wooden: Made of wood.

Scrap: Made of scrap.

Barbed: Has barbs on it.

Borealis: Looks police-esque

Energy: Made of energy; unbreakable.
