Usage

Place {{Lead too long|date=December 2025}} at the top of articles with more than four paragraphs or an otherwise inordinate amount of content in their lead section.

Notes

• This template will categorize tagged articles into Category:Wikipedia introduction cleanup.

A banner to indicate that a lead section of article should be reduced, as it is longer than what is recommended, relative to the length of the article.
