Hamster

The Killer Hamster is an enemy in survival mode. Spawning in the later stages of survival mode, Killer Hamster is a sizable foe, taking many hits with most weapons to kill. It attacks by biting the player, which can instant kill. The screen will go into bullet time when the Hamster is biting near the player.

In Survival House, it spawns underneath the Nano Shower (unconfirmed). 3 Stick Grenades/Grenades/Spiked Mines, 1 Stick Grenade/Grenade/Spiked Mine and 1 Thermal Bomb, or 2 Thermal bombs will kill it.

Strategies

In Survival House, stay in the spawn room. The Hamster can not jump into it, but can open the door if it jumps near enough to it. If you hold down the down arrow key (▼) or down on the left analog stick on the XBox360 controller, then walk to the door with a Stick Grenade, Grenade, Spiked Mine, or Thermal Bomb while holding down 'X' (on the keyboard and controller). When the door opens and the player auto aims at the Hamster, release 'X' and either close the door via lever or just walk all the way back. If one uses the thermal bomb, then using the lever is the best solution, as the Thermal Bomb will kill the player if the door is open. The Thermal Bomb will also launch the Hamster in a direction relative to the explosion's position to the Hamster, and will not kill it after the first explosion.
