The Matter Prototype (also known as Matter Pistol) is a handgun that shoots a matter charge. Standard magazine (Matter) size is 10. The Matter Pistol is a common first weapon in survival mode (second to the Slugger Semi) due to its high damage and decent rate of fire. The Matter Pistol is rather inaccurate. The Matter Pistol is very similar to the Matter Gun.
The primary downside to the Matter Pistol is that it doesn't have any upgrades (it is a "prototype" after all).
It cost 100 volts to buy it.
